OverviewInternationally acclaimed speaker, author and entrepreneur, Norma T. Hollis has delivered ‘authenticity’ presentations to thousands of people. Using her strong educational background, Norma has developed a unique way of presenting topics in a stimulating, fun-filled, yet thought-provoking way. She has an engaging style, and offers immediately applicable "how to" presentations that are valuable to her clients. Norma received her B.A. from Michigan State University; Masters from Walden University; attended Wayne State University; and was a management fellow at UCLA Anderson School of Management. She is a member of the International Association of Speakers Bureaus (IASB), Meeting Planners International (MPI), National Speakers Association (NSA), and the National Head Start Association (NHSA). During Norma’s early childhood career, she created early intervention programs, directed multi-million dollar Head Start programs, and pioneered developing the spirit of the young child. As an intuitive entrepreneur, she builds companies that serve the human spirit, develop the human potential, and provide a catalyst for improving the quality of life. Throughout her life, Norma has championed the power of voice. A painful childhood trauma caused Norma to discover an inner voice that enabled her to overcome extreme difficulty. Later, her early childhood training revealed her unique talent for discovering the gifts and talents in others that led to her authenticity research and ultimately, allowed her to create a unique diagnostic tool that rates personal authenticity. Her ‘authenticity assessment’ is being used by professionals and corporations around the world to identify critical gaps in communication and management styles. After opening her speakers bureau and training company in 1996, Norma navigated her way through the industry and emerged as the CEO of one of the largest speakers bureau in the world owned by an African American woman. Norma’s educational background, entrepreneurial successes, and authenticity research has positioned her as one of the most compelling voices on ‘authentic’ communication. On a personal level, she inspires people to remain steadfast in their goals and stay committed to their dreams. A charismatic communicator, Norma helps audiences discover their ‘authentic’ voices in order to enhance their personal and professional relationships.
